WIK Group has been designing and manufacturing electronic products since 1951 — from its roots in Essen, Germany, to a global OEM/ODM operation headquartered in Hong Kong, with manufacturing sites across China, Indonesia and North Macedonia. For over seven decades, WIK has built coffee and beverage systems, kitchen appliances and personal care devices for some of the world's best-known brands.
The Challenge
WIK's old brand told the story of a reliable manufacturer — precise, efficient, industrial. What it didn't tell was where the company was headed: toward circular manufacturing, sustainable materials and a genuinely different relationship between technology and the natural world.
That's a rare position for an electronics manufacturer to take. The industry isn't known for it, and most manufacturer brands play it safe — technical, corporate, forgettable. WIK wanted the opposite: a brand bold enough to lead the shift it was making internally, not just describe it after the fact.
The task wasn't a facelift. It was a complete rebrand — new positioning, new identity, new voice, new site — built around a vision the old brand had no language for yet.

Discovery
We started where every rebrand of this scale has to start: in the room with the people who carry the vision. We ran an initial workshop with WIK's CEO in Switzerland, working through the brand's values, its identity and its long-term profile — not the surface-level version, but the honest one.
Out of that session came the raw material for everything that followed: a clear sense of WIK's purpose, the mission it wanted to commit to publicly, and the values that needed to show up consistently — in the logo, in the copy, on the website, everywhere.

Strategy & Positioning
With vision, mission and values defined, we shaped the strategic territory WIK would own: technology that works with nature instead of against it. It's a positioning built for an electronics manufacturer specifically — not sustainability as a footnote, but as the organizing idea behind the entire brand.
That thinking became a claim: "Technology Attuned to Nature."
It's the line that now anchors everything WIK communicates — a compact statement of a brand that sees its manufacturing capability and its environmental responsibility as the same project, not two competing ones.

Identity System
We translated that positioning into a full brand identity system — logo, typography, color palette and the applied rules that hold them together across every touchpoint.
The identity had to do two things at once: signal WIK's industrial credibility (seven decades of manufacturing precision) and its new direction (organic, sustainable, forward-looking). The result is a system that reads as considered and confident rather than trend-driven — built to hold up across product packaging, digital platforms, presentations and factory environments alike.

Voice & Messaging
A brand this different needed to sound different too. We developed WIK's copywriting and tone of voice from the ground up — direct, grounded and confident enough to make a genuine claim about sustainability without slipping into greenwashing language.
That voice carries through the brand identity system, the campaign messaging and the new website — the same point of view, whether it's a headline, a product description or a paragraph about circular manufacturing.

Web Relaunch
Everything came together in a complete web relaunch. We designed and developed a new site from the ground up to carry the new identity system, claim and voice — assembling graphics and visuals, writing the copy, and structuring the site around WIK's vision, solutions and global project work.
WIK LABS — A Space for What's Next
Not every idea WIK works on is ready for a factory floor or a client contract. Some are still experiments — early-stage research into technology that could shape the next decade of manufacturing, but hasn't earned mass-market readiness yet.
Folding that work into the main WIK brand would have created a problem: clients evaluating WIK for production risk mistaking a research prototype for a shippable offering. So we gave it its own space instead. We created WIK LABS, a subbrand built specifically to house WIK's more experimental, cutting-edge research — clearly separated from the core brand's client-facing offerings, but still unmistakably part of the same technological lineage.
WIK LABS lets WIK explore boldly in public without overpromising — a place for ideas in progress, not products for sale. It protects the credibility of the main brand's client offerings while giving the company's most forward-looking work a home of its own.

The Result
WIK now has a brand that matches where the company is actually going: a global electronics manufacturer with seventy years of manufacturing credibility, positioned as a genuine leader in circular, sustainable production — not by claim alone, but backed by a full identity system, a distinct voice, and a website built to prove it.
